Charitable Giving Vehicle Assessment and Recommendations
Together we weigh outright versus planned gifts, the impact of direct and indirect donations, and then study vehicles for charitable giving including donor advised funds, charitable trusts and annuities, estate gifts, and donations that go directly and immediately to nonprofits. After considering all the options, overlaying them with your values and philanthropic focus, you can activate your philanthropy.
Vision, Mission and Philanthropic Focus facilitation
I facilitate discussions among family members -- involving all generations -- to help build a cohesive, value-based philanthropic plan. We start with a value’s assessment and inventory, then build a mission and vision statement, and finally a statement of philanthropic focus.
Philanthropic Planning
Building upon the vision, mission and focus statements, we build a plan, often gathering input across generations. The plan serves a as roadmap to guide donations.
Charity Identification
I conduct research on nonprofits and then provide viable charitable options. Once an initial investment is made with a charity, I can serve as a liaison between the charity and the donor in order to facilitate a long-lasting, impactful relationship, if so desired.
Charitable Liaison
If anonymity is desired, I can serve as a liaison between the donor and nonprofit.
